The roof is natural cedar wood to eliminate interior overheating. (The roof is removable for easy cleaning and kitten observation.) The natural western red cedar wood oils repel fleas, ticks and termites and can withstand extreme weather conditions while keeping your cat cooler in the summer - warmer in the winter.
